起動機空轉的故障原因

接通點火開關的啟動擋，起動機空轉，帶不動曲軸旋轉。這是由於單向旋轉的超越離合器打滑或損壞的緣故。此時聽不到起動機高速轉動的喻喻聲，發動機不能啟動。

如果啟動時有齒輪撞擊聲，這是嚙合彈簧過軟(或折斷)或起動機電磁開關行程調整不合適所致也可能是起動機螺栓鬆動、起動齒輪損壞、起動機軸承損壞，甚至是飛輪齒輪損壞所致。必須仔細查看，對症排除故障.

The cause of starter idling

When the ignition switch is switched on in the start gear, the starter idles and does not rotate the crankshaft. This is due to a slipping or damaged unidirectional overrunning clutch. At this point the metaphorical sound of the starter spinning at high speed is not heard and the engine cannot be started.

If there is a sound of the gears hitting when starting, this is due to the rod spring being too soft (or broken) or the starter electromechanical switch not being properly adjusted for the travel, or it may be due to loose starter bolts, damaged starter gears, damaged starter bearings, or even damaged flywheel gears. It is important to take a closer look and troubleshoot the problem.
