曲軸箱壓力感測器的作用

燃油燃燒過程中產生的活塞環漏洩氣體(燃燒氣體成分,其經由活塞進入曲軸箱)不得在非受控的情況下排放至空氣中。因此,曲軸箱通風裝置一方面用於將此類氣體重新通入燃燒裝置,另一方面負責控制曲軸箱內的負壓,

出於法律規定,必須監控曲軸箱通風裝置是否洩漏。因此,壓力感測器監控曲軸箱內的負壓。熱膜式空氣品質計可能因此失效。曲軸箱壓力感測器集成至在2條燃油箱排氣管內。

 

曲軸箱壓力感測器的工作原理

曲軸箱壓力感測器為壓差感測器。壓差感測器中測量曲軸箱內的壓力與大氣壓力的壓差並以信號形式發送至發動機控制裝置。發動機控制裝置利用該信號識別曲軸箱通風裝置是否洩漏.曲軸箱壓力感測器經由一個3芯插頭連接進行連接。該感測器由發動機控制系統提供5V的電壓。

 


壓差的有效信號根據壓力變化而波動。測量範圍約0.5~4.5V,對應於25kPa (0.25bar) ~-25kPa(-0.25bar) 的壓差

Role of the crankcase pressure sensor

Leakage gases from the piston rings (the combustion gas component, which enters the crankcase via the piston) generated during fuel combustion must not be vented into the air in an uncontrolled manner. The crankcase ventilation is therefore used to reintroduce such gases into the combustion unit on the one hand, and is responsible for controlling the negative pressure in the crankcase on the other.



For legal reasons, the crankcase ventilation must be monitored for leaks. Pressure sensors therefore monitor the negative pressure in the crankcase. The hot-film air quality meter may therefore fail. The crankcase pressure sensor is integrated into the 2 fuel tank exhaust pipes.


Operating principle of the crankcase pressure sensor

The crankcase pressure sensor is a differential pressure sensor. The differential pressure sensor measures the difference between the pressure in the crankcase and the atmospheric pressure and sends a signal to the engine control unit. This signal is used by the engine control unit to identify whether the crankcase ventilation is leaking. The crankcase pressure sensor is connected via a 3-prong plug connection. The sensor is supplied with a voltage of 5 V by the engine control system.


The effective signal of the differential pressure fluctuates according to the pressure change. The measuring range is approx. 0.5 to 4.5 V, corresponding to a differential pressure of 25 kPa (0.25 bar) to -25 kPa (-0.25 bar).

Standard values for crankcase pressure sensors: voltage range 0.5 to 4.5V; operating pressure -0.25 to 0.25 bar; response time less than 5ms; maximum output current 15mA; temperature range 40 to 130°C.
