電路搭鐵不良引起的故障，大致有以下幾個特徵現象:
電控系統性能明顯失常
如果PCM供電和搭鐵線路出現問題，可能出現以下幾個現象
01 故障診斷儀無法與PCM或者其他電子控制單元進行通信
02 採用數位式萬用表檢測時，感測器端子沒有5V參考電壓
03 接通點火開關(或者啟動發動機)時，PCM控制的部分執行器處於不工作狀態，例如電動燃油泵不能短時運轉、儀錶板上的故障指示燈不點亮、沒有噴油脈衝等
儀錶指示反常例如，如果儀錶板穩壓器的電阻絲搭鐵不良，穩壓器將不能正常工作，當輸出電壓和輸入電壓相等時會出現冷卻液溫度錶及燃油表同時指示最大刻度的現象。
另外，如果搭鐵線接觸不良，在汽車運行和顛簸中，搭鐵處形成的電壓降飄忽不定，有時還會引起汽車低速行駛時發動機冷卻液溫度顯示低，高速行駛時發動機冷卻液溫度顯示高的異常現象

出現在劇烈碰撞之後。汽車經過劇烈碰撞以後，往往引起車架變形，或者插接器鬆動。另外，許多轎車的蓄電池安裝在發動機旁或者座椅下面，與電控單元、電氣插接器等靠得很近，一旦蓄電池的電解液溢出，很容易對周邊電氣設備及搭鐵點造成腐蝕。

If there is a problem with the PCM power supply and the override circuit, the following phenomena may occur
01 Failure of the fault diagnostic instrument to communicate with the PCM or other electronic control units
02 No 5V reference voltage at the sensor terminals when using a digital multimeter
03 When the ignition switch is switched on (or the engine is started), some of the actuators controlled by the PCM are not working, e.g. the electric fuel pump does not run for a short time, the fault indicator on the instrument panel does not light up, there is no fuel injection pulse, etc.
For example, if the resistor wire of the instrument panel regulator is not well lapped, the regulator will not work properly and when the output voltage and input voltage are equal, the coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge will both indicate the maximum scale.
In addition, if the latching wire is not in good contact, the voltage drop formed at the latching area will fluctuate when the car is running and bumping, sometimes it will also cause the abnormal phenomenon that the engine coolant temperature is low when the car is running at low speed and high when the engine coolant temperature is high when the car is running at high speed.

Occurs after a violent collision. After a violent collision, the car's frame is often deformed or the plug is loosened. In addition, the battery in many cars is installed next to the engine or under the seat, close to the electronic control unit and the electrical plug, etc. If the electrolyte from the battery overflows, it can easily cause corrosion to the surrounding electrical equipment and the hitch point.
